Information Related to the Calculation and Payment of Fines for Late Filings

The following is sent to you at the request of the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI).

Please do not calculate your own late fees and assessments for policies filed late with the Stamping Office. Also, do not send payment to TDI based upon your calculation. You should not remit any payment for a fee or assessment to Texas unless and until you receive a late filer notice letter from TDI indicating the amount due.
