AXIS Appoints Nance to Lead Surplus Lines Business

Marc Nance has been appointed Executive Vice President, Excess & Surplus Property, of AXIS Insurance. Nance will manage the company’s excess and surplus property business in the United States, and will be based out of AXIS’s Chicago office.

Prior to his new role, Nance served as Executive Vice President, U.S. Property, at AXIS, and has been with the company since January 2003. He has 40 years’ experience in the insurance industry, and has previously held management-level positions with Lexington Insurance Company, AIG, and Chubb.
